This has not been a very good week for enthusiasm. Enthusiasm was the Franklin Makeover word of this past week. Having just come off the week prior, a week of death of a loved one, then the funeral, and flooded with tasks that kept me busy being of service, I folded into a heap with the flu. The flu, you ask? Yup, I slept for four days with my compass and thermometer nearby. Couldn’t care less what time or day it was. Enthusiasm? Ha! I will work on enthusiasm another week in the future, Subby.
The word for the week of the funeral, by-the-way, was decisiveness, which worked out perfect. I made many dots on my Franklin Makeover chart as I ran around picking up people at airports, tending to my grieving sister, planning dinners, car trips, etc.
The words I’m focusing on this week are “pleasing personality.” This, too, will be a piece of cake. It’s easy to smile and be pleasant when you feel the gratitude that you are alive and well, can walk outside on a sunny spring day and feel the warm breeze on your skin. Yes, I am very grateful.
Oh, and my 48-hours silence went very well. I slept right through it. I have booked it for a later date, because I do want to do it right.
I hope we keep Alliances available to us. I want so much to stay in touch.
