MASTER KEY HERO'S JOURNEY

A Journal of Discovery

Week 7 – The Hero’s Journey – Love & Forgiveness

Haanel writes that the mental image, “…is the mold or model which will serve as a pattern from which your future will emerge.”  Holding a clear picture of what I want, focusing on it with all of the concentration I can muster up, will bring that object closer to me.  He’s not saying that all I have to do is think about what I want, then it will appear “poof” before my eyes. He says that I must have clear and complete picture.  This will happen when I practice visualization.  The picture becomes clearer each time I focus on it and see the details.

Haanel says, “…as the details begin to unfold the ways and means for bringing it into manifestation will develop. One thing leads to another.”  Haanel is saying that I will attract to me the people and methods by which I will realize the object of my desire.  Miracles will happen.  But they are not really miracles if we understand how the law of attraction works.  It simply is.  I might say to myself I want more time to work.  If I hold that thought, I suddenly have a day where everything on my to-do list gets done.  How?  I don’t know, and I don’t particularly care.  I don’t question what is, but I am breathless from the gratitude that fills my heart as I learn more and more about the Law of Attraction.

I learn from Haanel how to concentrate my thoughts to bring what I want into manifestation. I learn from Og Mandino how to love, how to forgive.  I must forgive everyone.  I will greet each person I meet by silently saying, “I love you.”  It’s not easy to forgive, but I do.  And it’s really not a piece of cake to silently say, “I love you,” to everyone, not without gritting my teeth once in a while anyway.  I am trying very hard to do as Mandino suggests, because I believe in the result.  I know if I practice these principles it will become easier and easier.  I’m a good person, so I know I’m on the right path.

On a lighter note…I had the most fun this week working on my dream board.  Haanel says, “…make it grand; remember that no limitation can be placed upon you by any one but yourself.”  Okay, that gave me the license to dream big, and the result makes my heart swell every time I look at the dream board.
